Welcome to LEA
Laboratory for Energy Systems Analysis
LEA is an interdepartmental laboratory of NES and ENE and unites specific
analytical research concerning all energy systems, that is nuclear, fossil
and (new) renewable. It is led by Dr. Stefan Hirschberg, attached to NES
in all administrative matters and monitored by a Steering Committee consisting
of Dr. Jean-Marc Cavedon (NES Dept. Head) and Prof. Alexander Wokaun (ENE Dept. Head).
In cooperation also with external partners (ETHZ
and many others), LEA carries out energy systems analyses relevant for energy
policy issues as well as safety analyis based on Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) and focused on Human Reliability Assessment (HRA).
